...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WAYNE COUNTY UNTIL 530 PM CST...

At 454 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Walnut Grove, or 8 miles northeast of Pickwick Landing State Park,
moving east at 50 mph.

Nickel size hail, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, frequent cloud to
ground lightning strikes, and brief heavy rainfall will be possible
with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Waynesboro, Collinwood, Lutts and Cypress Inn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
