THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR TORNADO WATCH 219 CONTINUES.
SUMMARY...STORMS WILL CONTINUE SWD ACROSS KY AND INTO TN THIS
EVENING. THE TORNADO THREAT IS GREATEST IN KY...WITH DAMAGING WINDS
EVENTUALLY SPREADING SWD INTO TN. A NEW WATCH WILL BE NEEDED.
DISCUSSION...A BROKEN LINE OF SEVERE STORMS CONTINUES TO SHIFT SEWD
ACROSS THE LOWER OH VALLEY INTO WRN KY BENEATH A STRONG MIDLEVEL JET
MAX AND IN A STRONGLY UNSTABLE AIR MASS. WIND PROFILES CONTINUE TO
BE FAVORABLE FOR SUPERCELLS AS WELL AS BOWS WITH NWLY FLOW ALOFT AND
NEAR THE INSTABILITY AXIS. A NEW WATCH WILL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO
EXPIRATION TIME...AND ALSO EXTENDING INTO TN.
