...WIND INFORMATION...
The threat for destructive Typhoon force winds has diminished as
Bolaven departs. However, damaging tropical storm force winds of 39
mph or higher will continue overnight. Winds are expected to fall
below tropical storm force by late Wednesday morning.

A general concern of minor to moderate damage somewhere within the
area remains. Poorly constructed homes may sustain minor wall damage
and partial roof removal. Other homes may have minor roof and siding
damage. Some loose outdoor items will be tossed around and may cause
additional damage. A few power lines will be knocked down resulting
in scattered power outages. Some large branches of healthy trees will
be snapped. Most newly planted trees and shrubs will be damaged or
uprooted.

Winds will decrease Wednesday and become southwest to south 20 to 30
mph with gusts to 40 mph during the day.

...COASTAL INUNDATION AND SURF INFORMATION...
The peak inundation threat has passed but minor inundation is still
possible through tonight, especially during high tide around 5 AM
Wednesday morning. Dangerous surf conditions with surf heights
exceeding 15 feet are expected through Wednesday. Hazardous surf
conditions are expected to continue through at least Thursday.

...INLAND FLOODING...
A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for the entire area. Additional
rainfall of 2 to 5 inches is possible through Wednesday morning. The
highest amounts are expected for Rota as the more-widespread showers
are found south of the center of Bolaven. See the latest forecasts
for the most up-to-date information. Listen for possible flood
warnings for your location, and be ready to act if flooding rains
occur. Soils are already wet from previous rainfall, so it won't take
much to cause flooding.
