An Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is along 29W/30W, from 17N
southward, moving westward 15 to 20 knots. Precipitation:
widely scattered to scattered moderate to strong is within 240
nm to the east of the trough. Isolated moderate to locally
strong is within 270 nm to the west of the trough.

southward from 60W eastward.

GULF OF MEXICO...

An upper level trough is in the eastern half of the Gulf of
Mexico, along 87W. Abundant moisture in the eastern sections of
the Gulf of Mexico, and NE surface winds in the Atlantic Ocean
to the east of Florida, are helping to push clouds and
precipitation into the Gulf of Mexico, from 90W eastward.
Precipitation: Isolated moderate to locally strong covers the
Gulf of Mexico from 90W eastward.

High pressure in the eastern United States, and broad low
pressure in the western Caribbean Sea, will support fresh to
strong easterly winds in the eastern Gulf of Mexico overnight.
Gentle to moderate winds will prevail elsewhere through Sunday.

CARIBBEAN SEA...

A surface trough extends from 22N90W just to the north of theYucatan Peninsula, to a NW Caribbean Sea 1006 mb low pressure
center that is near 19N86W, to 16N83W, to the coast of Panama
along 80W. Precipitation: widely scattered moderate to isolated

Colombia, beyond Costa Rica. The nearby precipitation is close
to the 22N90W-to-Panama surface trough.

Yucatan Channel to 12N80W, is producing scattered rainshowers
and thunderstorms to the east of the trough. The trough will
drift westward during the next couple of days. The rainshower
and thunderstorm activity in the western Caribbean Sea will be
enhanced. The wind speeds and the sea heights are expected to
increase to the south of the Windward Islands on Saturday.

and 20N northward from 72W westward. Abundant moisture is in the
same region also. Precipitation: widely scattered to scattered

near 31N10W, to the Canary Islands. Broad surface low pressure
covers the rest of the Atlantic Ocean from 28N northward from
27W eastward. Precipitation: scattered strong is from 25N to 26N
