This product covers portions of southwest Alabama...northwest Florida...south
central Alabama...and inland southeast Mississippi.

**Winds will continue to subside but storm surge and inland flooding
will persist today**

    - About 180 miles west of Mobile AL or about 240 miles west of
      Pensacola FL
    - 31.0N 91.2W
    - Storm Intensity 35 mph
    - Movement North-northwest or 330 degrees at 10 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

At 4:00 AM CDT, Tropical Depression Cristobal will continue to lift northwest
across Louisiana today and continue to weaken.

Sustained winds have fallen below tropical storm force but there may still be
a few gusts in excess of 40 mph at times through this morning, especially
along coastal locations. Winds will continue to gradually diminish through
the day.

Coastal Flooding will persist through this afternoon along coastal Alabama
and the western Florida Panhandle with inundation of up to 2 feet through
Monday, especially around the time of high tide. The greatest potential
for storm surge will be across surge prone locations along northern
Mobile Bay, where inundation between 3 and 3.5 feet will be likely.
High Surf is occurring and will continue with breaker heights of 9 to 12 feet
through this morning, before gradually diminishing later today. Dangerous
rip currents will persist through at least Tuesday.

Additional rainfall amounts between 2 and 4 inches with locally higher
amounts are expected across southeast Mississippi and portions of
southwest Alabama. Rainfall amounts between 1 and 3 inches are expected
over the remainder of interior Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle.
Flash flooding is occurring and will continue, especially in poor drainage
and urban areas.

A few tornadoes will be possible today across southeast Mississippi,
southwest Alabama, and the western Florida Panhandle.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* FLOODING RAIN:
Additional impacts from flooding rain are still a concern across southeast
Mississippi and southwest Alabama. Remain well guarded against
life-threatening flood waters having further impacts of extensive
potential.

central Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle. Remain well guarded
against dangerous flood waters having further impacts of limited to
significant potential.

* SURGE:
Storm surge will continue to be a threat along coastal Alabama and the
western Florida Panhandle. A coastal flood warning is now in effect for
the coastline of northern Mobile Bay where water levels between 3 and 3.5
feet above normally dry ground is expected. Moderate impacts from coastal
flooding are expected in these locations.
    - Community officials are now assessing the extent of actual
      surge impacts accordingly.
    - Emergency response teams are attending to casualty situations
      as needed.
    - Emergency work crews are restoring essential community
      infrastructure as necessary.
    - If you have an emergency dial 9 1 1.

* WIND:
Little to no additional wind impacts expected.

    - Community officials are now assessing the extent of actual wind
      impacts accordingly.
    - Emergency response teams are attending to casualty situations
      as needed.
    - Emergency work crews are restoring essential community
      infrastructure as necessary.

* TORNADOES:
Additional impacts from tornadoes are still a concern across portions
of southeast Mississippi, southwest Alabama, and the western Florida
Panhandle. Remain well braced against tornado event having further
limited impact potential.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

* OTHER PREPAREDNESS INFORMATION:
Remain safely sheltered until conditions improve. When going outside
be sure to stay away from downed power lines, hazardous debris and
flooded areas.

Be alert for potential flooding from rising rivers and streams which
may have yet to crest. Remain informed of the latest river forecasts
and heed any flood watches and warnings.

Be alert for flooded roads which could be compromised or littered
with debris. Avoid travel until water levels subside and roads have
been cleared. Do not drive through places where flood waters cover
the road. Turn around, don't drown!

Have multiple ways to receive Tornado Warnings if issued. Consider
nearby shelter options as you move about. Be ready to shelter quickly.
