* CHANGES TO WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - All watches and warnings have been canceled

* CURRENT WATCHES AND WARNINGS:
    - None

* STORM INFORMATION:
    - About 140 miles south-southeast of Nantucket MA
    - 39.3N 69.1W
    - Storm Intensity 45 mph
    - Movement Southeast or 140 degrees at 3 mph

SITUATION OVERVIEW
------------------

Post-Tropical Storm Jose has weakened and continues to move farther
away from the region. All Tropical Storm Warnings have been
discontinued. Gale warnings have now been posted for most of the outer
waters off the southern New England coast for tonight for a few
lingering gale force gusts, but winds will diminish to Small Craft
Advisory levels on Saturday.

High Surf Advisories remain in effect through Saturday for the
Massachusetts and Rhode Island coasts. Large waves still pose a hazard
along the ocean exposed coastline. There will also be dangerous rip
currents.

POTENTIAL IMPACTS
-----------------

* WIND:
Little to no additional impacts are anticipated at this time across
Southern New England. Winds may still gust to 30 to 40 mph for a time
this evening along the southeastern New England coast.

* OTHER COASTAL HAZARDS:
High surf and strong rip currents will continue through Saturday along
the Massachusetts and Rhode Island coasts.
