For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico:

A large area of disorganized showers and thunderstorms continues
near the northern Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto
Rico in association with the remnants of Tropical Storm Grace.
Upper-level winds are not expected to be favorable for redevelopment
of this system during the next several days. However, heavy rain and
gusty winds are possible across portions of the northern Leeward
Islands, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Hispaniola as the
system moves west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...low...near 0 percent

A tropical wave located south of the Cape Verde Islands is producing
minimal shower activity.  Environmental conditions are forecast to
become favorable for some gradual development of this wave by early
next week while it moves generally westward across the tropical
Atlantic at about 15 mph.

* Formation chance through 5 days...medium...50 percent

A small low pressure system located about 1000 miles southwest of
the Azores is producing minimal shower and thunderstorm activity.
Development, if any, of this low is expected to be slow to occur
while it moves westward to west-northwestward at about 10 mph over
the next several days.
