PUERTO RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS COASTAL WATERS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF PUERTO RICO AND THE
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS. PLEASE LISTEN CLOSELY FOR ANY FLOOD WARNINGS

LATITUDE 16.9N...LONGITUDE 61.2W. THIS WAS ABOUT 330 MILES
EAST-SOUTHEAST OF SAN JUAN PR...OR ABOUT 270 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST
OF SAINT THOMAS VI. STORM MOTION WAS NW OR 315 DEGREES AT 15 MPH.
STORM INTENSITY WAS 40 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
SATELLITE AND RADAR IMAGERY INDICATE THAT THE CIRCULATION OF MARIA
CONTINUES TO BECOME LESS DEFINED. IF THIS TREND CONTINUES...MARIA
COULD DISSIPATE AS A TROPICAL CYCLONE LATER TODAY. HOWEVER...ON
THE FORECAST TRACK...THE CENTER OF POORLY ORGANIZED MARIA WILL BE
PASSING OVER THE BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS EARLY SUNDAY MORNING AND
MOVE INTO THE ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS SUNDAY AFTERNOON. OCCASIONAL
SHOWERS WILL AFFECT THE COASTAL WATERS THROUGH THE DAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE NUMEROUS AFTER MIDNIGHT
