FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON TROPICAL
STORM CINDY...LOCATED ABOUT 805 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE AZORES.
ADVISORIES ARE ALSO BEING ISSUED ON TROPICAL DEPRESSION
BRET...LOCATED ABOUT 320 MILES NORTH-NORTHWEST OF BERMUDA.

A TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 425 MILES EAST OF THE WINDWARD ISLANDS
IS PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS.   SLOW
DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS AS IT MOVES WESTWARD TO WEST-NORTHWESTWARD AT 15 TO 20 MPH.
THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...20 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A
TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS. REGARDLESS OF
DEVELOPMENT...BRIEF PERIODS OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND GUSTY
WINDS COULD SPREAD ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE LESSER ANTILLES THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
