IN THE CHESAPEAKE BAY HAVE BEEN DOWNGRADED TO A TROPICAL STORM
WARNING. ALSO UPDATED NEW POSITION AND TRACK INFORMATION.

MOTION WAS NNE OR 20 DEGREES AT 18 MPH. STORM INTENSITY WAS
75 MPH.

IRENE WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTH NORTHEASTWARD ALONG THE MID-
ATLANTIC COAST EARLY THIS MORNING AND NORTH OF THE AREA LATER
TODAY. GUSTY NORTHWESTERLY WINDS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON IN
THE WAKE OF THE HURRICANE.
