...National Weather Service to Change Forecast Services for the
Cumberland River at Old Hickory Dam...

The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Office (WFO)
in Nashville, TN will change the site ID for the inflow forecasts
to Old Hickory Dam. The inflow forecasts are issued under the site
ID OHIT1, which is also the site ID fore releases out of Old
Hickory Dam. This could lead to confusion as the inflow forecast
and the releases represent two different physical elements. The
new site ID for the inflow forecats will be OHHT1 and the changes
will become official on Wednesday, June 14th.

WFO Nashville provides weather services for 38 counties in Middle
