...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 545 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  county, Putnam.

* WHEN...Until 545 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 356 PM CDT, The threat for Flash Flooding has ended, but
    some areas are still experiencing high water including Poplar
    Grove Rd in the Cookeville area as reported by Putnam County
    Emergency Management. Any remaining high water is expected to
    slowly subside this afternoon.
  - This includes the following areas and streams...
    Algood, Cookeville, Falling Water River including areas near
    Cookeville, and Blackburn Fork including Double Springs and
    Cummins Falls State Park.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cookeville, Algood, Monterey and Baxter.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
