...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southeastern
Davidson, western Rutherford, southeastern Williamson and
southwestern Wilson Counties through 945 AM CST...

At 910 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles south of Nolensville, or 12 miles west of Murfreesboro, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, Nolensville, Walterhill, Rural Hill,
Eagleville, Cedars Of Lebanon State Park, Rockvale, Gladeville and
Triune.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 62 and 78.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 37 and 74.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to minor localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
