...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Marshall,
southwestern Rutherford, southeastern Maury, southeastern Williamson
and northwestern Bedford Counties through 930 AM CST...

At 840 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southeast of Columbia, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Murfreesboro, Columbia, Lewisburg, Nolensville, Chapel Hill,
Eagleville, Christiana, Culleoka, I-65 East Of Columbia, Triune,
Rover, Rockvale and Unionville.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 31 and 48.
 Interstate 24 near mile marker 87.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 38 and 49.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Brief heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to minor localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
