IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for
Middle Tennessee.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM CDT
FOR CENTRAL DAVIDSON...SOUTHWESTERN SUMNER AND NORTHWESTERN WILSON
COUNTIES...

At 1136 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles northwest of Gallatin to near Hermitage,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Gallatin, Lebanon, Nashville, Madison, Hendersonville, Mount Juliet,
Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville, Lakewood, Hermitage, Rural
Hill, Belinda City, Old Hickory, Green Hill, Whites Creek, Cottontown
and Percy Priest Lake.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 40 between mile markers 207 and 208, and between mile
markers 215 and 230.
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 85 and 101.
 Interstate 24 between mile markers 39 and 49.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
