...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CDT FOR
NORTHERN MAURY...CENTRAL WILLIAMSON AND EAST CENTRAL HICKMAN
COUNTIES...

At 1134 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of
Fairview, or 13 miles west of Franklin, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Columbia, Centerville, Spring Hill, Thompson's Station,
Santa Fe, Primm Springs, Leipers Fork and I-65 East Of Columbia.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 65 between mile markers 45 and 63.
 Interstate 840 between mile markers 6 and 36.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
