...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
  counties, Hickman, Humphreys, Lewis, Perry and Wayne.

* WHEN...Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 503 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waynesboro, Linden, Clifton, Lobelville, Flatwoods, and
    Pleasantville. Some creeks that may be affected include
    Cypress Creek, Marsh Creek, Roan Creek, Toms creek including
    Pine View, Lick Creek and Spring Creek near Mousetail Landing
    State Park, Cedar Creek including Horner, and Whiteoak Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
