...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM CDT THURSDAY
THROUGH 1 AM CDT FRIDAY...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Bedford, Cannon, Cheatham, Clay, Coffee, Cumberland, Davidson,
  De Kalb, Dickson, Fentress, Giles, Grundy, Hickman, Houston,
  Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lewis, Macon, Marshall, Maury,
  Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Pickett, Putnam, Robertson,
  Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Van Buren,
  Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson, and Wilson.

* From 1 AM CDT Thursday through 1 AM CDT Friday

* Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall from 1 AM CDT Thursday through
  1 AM CDT Friday will cause excessive rainfall amounts of 1-3
  inches, with locally higher amounts of around 4 inches possible.

* Heavy rainfall will cause excess runoff and localized flash
  flooding in the watch area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based
on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be
alert for possible flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to
flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding
develop.
