...Light Snowfall Accumulation Possible East of I-65 Late Tonight
Through Monday Evening...

A deep trough over the Eastern U.S. will provide the ingredients
for light rain changing to snow tonight into early Monday
morning. With temperatures hovering in the low to mid 30s on
Monday, rain may mix with snow at times. Light snow accumulations
may occur east of I-65, with a dusting up to one-half inch
possible. Less accumulation will occur near the I-65 corridor,
with higher amounts expected near the Cumberland Plateau. For
locations on the Cumberland Plateau, please refer to the Winter
Weather Advisory.

While a majority of the accumulation will be on elevated and
untreated surfaces, motorists should still exercise caution when
traveling on Monday. This is especially true farther east toward
the Cumberland Plateau. Precipitation is expected to taper off to
flurries late Monday night into early Tuesday.
