...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch for a portion of Middle Tennessee, including
the following areas, Cheatham, Clay, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman,
Houston, Humphreys, Jackson, Lewis, Macon, Maury, Montgomery, Perry,
Robertson, Rutherford, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Trousdale, Wayne,
Williamson and Wilson has been cancelled.

The Flood Watch is cancelled. There is no longer a threat of
additional heavy rainfall.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THURSDAY...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Bedford, Giles, Lawrence and Marshall.

* Until 7 AM CDT Thursday

* Rainfall in association with the remnants of hurricane Zeta will
  be working northeastward across the watch area later tonight. The
  watch area will likely be on the northwestern edge of the heavier
  precipitation, but given the heavier rain that fell earlier, the
  potential for flooding still exists.

* Up to one inch of additional rainfall can be expected overnight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead to
Flash Flooding. Flash Flooding is a very dangerous situation. You
should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should
Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

  Cannon, Coffee, Cumberland, De Kalb, Fentress, Grundy, Overton,
  Pickett, Putnam, Van Buren, Warren and White.

* Through Thursday afternoon

* Heavy rainfall in association with the remnants of hurricane Zeta
  will be working northeastward across the watch area late tonight
  and early Thursday.

* 1 To 2 inches of additional rainfall can be expected across the
  watch area.
