  Shoal Creek Near Iron City affecting Lauderdale and Lawrence Counties

. Shoal Creek near Iron City has dropped below action stage...so the advisory
has been cancelled.  With additional rainfall expected tomorrow...it is very
possible the creek will rise above action stage later this week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio or other local media for further information
from the National Weather Service.

* At 09PM Monday the stage was 8.9 feet.
* Action stage is 10.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 12.4 feet after midnight tomorrow.
* At 14.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas along Shoal Creek begins.
