  Richland Creek Above Pulaski affecting Giles County

. Heavy rainfall overnight has led to a rise in the river level.  The river is
expected to remain above action stage for the next several days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Richland Creek Above Pulaski
* Until Thursday evening.
* At 07PM Monday the stage was 17.7 feet.
* Action stage is 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 18.2 feet after midnight tomorrow.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken Creek Rd and the
  Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be subject to closure
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of low lying agricultural land along the river begins
