...The Flood Advisory continues for the Richland Creek...

  Richland Creek Above Pulaski affecting Giles County

. Richland Creek above Pulaski remains high due to recent heavy rain. The creek
will remain above action stage for the next several days as more heavy rain
is forecast to impact the area Wednesday evening which could cause additional
rises on the creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio or other local media for further information
from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory is extended for
  The Richland Creek Above Pulaski
* Until Saturday afternoon.
* At 04PM Tuesday the stage was 17.5 feet.
* Action stage is 16.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 19.5 feet early Friday morning.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of Vales Mill Rd between Chicken Creek Rd and the
  Highway 64 bypass become inundated and may be subject to closure
* At 16.0 feet...Flooding of low lying agricultural land along the river begins
