...Flood Watch Through Tuesday Morning...

.A slow moving cold front will bring an extended period of rain
to the area, adding an additional inch to inch and a half in the
watch area overnight on top of rain from earlier on Monday.
Flooding is likely given amount of rain mid state has experienced
over the past week.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING...

The Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Cumberland, De Kalb, Fentress, Giles,
  Grundy, Lawrence, Lewis, Marshall, Maury, Overton, Putnam,
  Rutherford, Van Buren, Warren, Wayne, White, and Williamson.

* Through Tuesday morning.

* For excessive rainfall, 2 to 3 inches.

* Localized flooding is likely, and fast-rising creeks and
  streams may overflow their banks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
