...September 2019 one of the warmest and driest ever so far...

Unusually hot and dry weather has persisted across most of Middle
Tennessee this month. Through yesterday, hot temperatures have
made this September one of the warmest ever for Nashville and
Crossville. In addition, the number of days in a year with
temperatures reaching 90 degrees or higher is nearing the all-
time record at Nashville. Finally, the lack of rainfall so far
this month is making this September one of the driest on record in
Middle Tennessee.
