...Record heat expected this weekend and next week...

A strong upper level ridge of high pressure is expected to bring
record heat to Middle Tennessee this weekend into next week, with
highs in the upper 80s to mid 90s. Daily record high temperatures
are likely to be tied or broken at both Nashville and Crossville
nearly every day, and the October monthly high temperature record
may also be in jeopardy.
