The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  North central Cumberland County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southeastern Fentress County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 405 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Doppler radar estimates one to two inches of rain has already
  fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Allardt, Slate Springs and Clarkrange.

Additional rainfall of one to two inches is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 313 and 318.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
