The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northeastern Pickett County in Middle Tennessee...
  Northeastern Fentress County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 313 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Doppler radar estimates up to one and one half inch of rain has
  already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Pickett State Park.

Additional rainfall of one inch is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
