  Shoal Creek Near Iron City affecting Lauderdale and Lawrence Counties

. Shoal Creek Near Iron City was under action stage Thursday morning and will continue to fall through Thursday night. Howevere, additional heavy rainfall is expected, so the Creek will rise again this weekend.

The Flood Advisory is extended for
  The Shoal Creek Near Iron City
* Until Sunday evening.
* At 7 AM Thursday the stage was 9.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Action stage is 10.0 feet.
* The river will drop below action stage today and tonight, but expected rainfall will cause the river rise again, to near 15.0 feet Saturday afternoon.
* At 14.0 feet...Flooding of low lying areas along Shoal Creek begins.
