The National Weather Service in Nashville has extended the

* Flood Advisory for...
  Marshall County in Middle Tennessee...
  Maury County in Middle Tennessee...
  Lawrence County in Middle Tennessee...
  Giles County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 400 PM CST.

* At 145 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated rains are starting to exit
  the advisory area, however flooding is still ongoing. Many roads
  are closed.  Creeks and rivers are running extremely high, if not
  already overflowing and spilling into roadways.  Please do not try
  to drive through flooded areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Columbia, Lewisburg, Lawrenceburg, Pulaski, Spring Hill, Mount
  Pleasant, Loretto, Summertown, Chapel Hill, Ardmore, Cornersville,
  St. Joseph, Elkton, Minor Hill, Ethridge, Lynnville, Henryville,
  Culleoka, Belfast and Goodspring.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 1 and 52.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
