...The National Weather Service in Nashville, Tn has issued a flood advisory for
the following rivers in middle Tennessee...

  Cumberland River At Hunters Point affecting Wilson County
  Cumberland River At Nashville affecting Davidson County
  Harpeth River Near Kingston Springs affecting Cheatham County
  Stones River Near Donelson affecting Davidson County
  Whites Creek At Bordeaux affecting Davidson County

.Runoff from rainfall this afternoon and evening will continue to cause area
creeks, streams, and rivers to rise through tonight. Those with interests along
these rivers should monitor levels overnight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* Flood Advisory for
  The Cumberland River At Hunters Point
* At 09PM Wednesday the stage was 47.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
* At 48.0 feet...Areas along the river begin to be inundated from Beasleys Bend
  in Wilson County downstream to Old Hickory Dam. This includes agricultural
  land adjacent to the river, recreation areas, boat launch areas, and marinas
  in Hendersonville, Old Hickory, Mount Juliet, Lauguardo, Lebanon, Gallatin,
  and Castalian Springs.

* Flood Advisory for
  The Cumberland River At Nashville
* At 09PM Wednesday the stage was 29.0 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 34.0 feet Friday morning.
* At 35.0 feet...Low lying areas along the river from the I-24 bridge to the
  I-65 bridge are significantly inundated, including riverfront recreation areas
  and access points near Nissan Stadium. Industrial properties along the river
  should monitor further increases in river levels.
* At 34.0 feet...Water reaches the second grassy area of the riverfront landing
  and covers most of the recreation areas on the east side of the river near
  Nissan Stadium.
* At 32.0 feet...Further inundation of low lying areas along the river is
  occurring including the riverfront landing and receation areas near Nissan
  Stadium.
* At 30.0 feet...Water reaches the first grassy area of the riverfront landing,
  and the access point on the east side of the river near Nissan Stadium.

  The Harpeth River Near Kingston Springs
* At 09PM Wednesday the stage was 13.7 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* The river will rise to near 18.7 feet tomorrow afternoon.
* At 20.0 feet...Flooding of the Kingston Springs City Park begins and water
  approaches Pinnacle Hill Road and East Kingstons Springs Road. Several
  secondary roads near the river become impassable.
* At 18.0 feet...Low lying areas of the Narrows of the Harpeth State Park become
  inundated.
* At 16.0 feet...Agricultural land and low lying areas adjacent to the river
  begin to be inundated.

* At 09PM Wednesday the stage was 20.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* At 20.0 feet...Portions of the Stones River Greenway between Percy
  Priest Dam and Lebanon Road are inundated.
* At 23.0 feet...Sections of the Stones River Greenway are impassable
  between Percy Priest Dam and Lebanon Road...and low lying areas along
  the river are inundated near the park on Jackson Downs Blvd.

* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* At 13.0 feet...Water inundates the backyards of homes along Hamilton Ave in
  the Bordeaux area.
