* Until 930 AM CST Thursday.

* At 925 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from slow moving
  thunderstorms will continue to plague areas of Middle Tennessee
  along and north of Interstate 40. Doppler radar estimates 2 to as
  much as 6 inches of rain has fallen this afternoon and evening,
  with additional rainfall expected overnight. Runoff from this rain
  will continue to cause pockets of flash flooding, and as the
  runoff moves into area creeks and streams, watch for rises on some
  of the larger rivers including the Harpeth and Cumberland late
  tonight and early tomorrow.

* Some locations that may experience or continue to experience flash
  flooding include...
  Clarksville, Franklin, Cookeville, Gallatin, Lebanon, Springfield,
  Dickson, Ashland City, Lafayette, Waverly, Livingston, Camden,
  Carthage, Jamestown, Celina, Dover, Erin, Gainesboro, Byrdstown
  and Nashville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
