...2019 now a Top 10 wettest year for Nashville and Crossville...

Despite the record heat and drought that affected the region in
September and early October, 2019 has been an unusually wet year
for much of Middle Tennessee. In fact, through December 23,
precipitation totals for the year so far make this the 5th
wettest year ever in Nashville and the 10th wettest year ever in
Crossville. With one more week still to go in the year and more
rain expected, these rankings could go even higher.

Weather records for Nashville began in 1871, and for Crossville
began in 1954.
