The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  De Kalb County in Middle Tennessee...
  White County in Middle Tennessee...
  Southeastern Putnam County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 800 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms moving across the area. Radar estimates up to 2
  inches of rain has already fallen. Additional rainfall will cause
  minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Sparta, Smithville, Algood, Monterey, Alexandria, Doyle,
  Dowelltown, Liberty, Hamptons Crossroads, Bakers Crossroads, Virgin
  Falls State Natural Area, Center Hill Lake, Edgar Evans State Park
  and Burgess Falls State Park.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 291 and 303.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
