...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHEASTERN SMITH...NORTHERN
JACKSON...CLAY AND SOUTHEASTERN MACON COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM CDT...

At 354 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Red Boiling Springs, or 8 miles southeast of Lafayette, moving east
at 40 mph.

Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Lafayette, Celina, Red Boiling Springs, Whitleyville, Moss, Pleasant
Shade and Boles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
