...Potential of Rainfall Leading to Flash Flooding Continues
Across Western Middle Tennessee Overnight...

.Tropical Depression Alberto is expected to continue moving
northward and out of the mid state region over the next few
hours. Additional rainfall amounts of 1, up to locally 2
inches, across locations approaching the TN River Valley Region
can be expected overnight. For locations generally around and
east of a Lawrenceburg to Nashville to Portland line, the
potential for flash flooding has ended.

has been cancelled. The flash flood threat across this portion of
Middle Tennessee has ended.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THIS
MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following areas,
  Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman, Houston, Humphreys, Lewis,
  Montgomery, Perry, Robertson, Stewart, and Wayne.

* Until 7 AM CDT this morning

* Average rainfall amounts of one, up to locally two inches,
  possible.

* Some flash flooding is still possible. In addition, you can
  expect rises to occur on area creeks and streams, and possibly
  along larger rivers as well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
