the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT
FOR SMITH...SOUTHWESTERN JACKSON...NORTHEASTERN WILSON AND CENTRAL
TROUSDALE COUNTIES...

At 510 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Carthage,
moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 425 PM CDT, numerous trees were blown
         down across Sumner County with this storm.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Carthage, Hartsville, Gordonsville, South Carthage, Dixon Springs,
Granville, Pleasant Shade and Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area.

This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 258 and 264.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
