The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  North central Davidson County in Middle Tennessee...
  Central Sumner County in Middle Tennessee...
  Eastern Robertson County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 115 PM CDT.

* At 1113 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms spreading from Robertson County into western Sumner
  and northeast Davidson. This will cause minor flooding in the
  advisory area. Some locations have already had more than 2 inches
  of rainfall early this morning. The additional thunderstorms and
  heavy rainfall moving into the area will cause at least minor
  flooding. An additional 2 inches of rain could fall before 1 PM
  CDT.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Springfield, Hendersonville, Goodlettsville, White House,
  Millersville, Greenbrier, Ridgetop, Cross Plains, Portland,
  Orlinda, Mitchellville, Oak Grove and Cottontown.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 95 and 120.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
