...Dangerous Wind Chills Return...

.Another cold air blast will move into the region tonight. Across
much of the Cumberland Plateau, wind chill values will drop to
dangerous levels late tonight into early Thursday morning.

Including the cities of Byrdstown, Cookeville, Livingston,
Jamestown, Allardt, Sparta, Crossville, Altamont, Coalmont,

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM
CST THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected, which can cause frostbite
  to exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Wind chills will
  range from 5 above to 5 below zero.

* WHERE...Portions of the Cumberland Plateau.

* WHEN...Midnight to 9 AM Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dress in layers and minimize exposed skin.
  Make sure children have hats and gloves as they go to school. Bring
  pets indoors and check on neighbors, elderly, and the homeless.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
