...Near Record Warm Temperatures Expected Today through
Wednesday...

Usually this time of the year, high temperatures are in the 60s
and 70s, with lows in the 40s. However, near record warmth is
expected across Middle Tennessee over the next several days, as
temperatures over most areas climb well into the 80s. The
temperature may even flirt with 90 degrees at Nashville on Tuesday
and Wednesday.

Following are the high temperatures forecast at Nashville for today...
tomorrow...and Wednesday...along with the record high temperature
for each day.

Today...the forecast high is 87 degrees...the record high for this
date is 86 degrees...last set in 2007.

On Tuesday...the forecast high is 89 degrees...the record high is
87 degrees...set back in 1953.

On Wednesday...the forecast high is 88 degrees...the record high
is 89 degrees...set back in 2005.

If the temperature at Nashville should manage to reach 90 degrees
during this warm spell...it will be the latest that a 90 degree
temperature has ever been recorded in the Music City. Up to this
point...the latest day of the season on which 90 degrees has
occurred is October 10...which occurred back in 1980.
