  Buffalo River Above Flat Woods AFFECTING Perry and Wayne Counties

. The Buffalo River above Flat Woods crested earlier today and will
continue to fall to below action stage around midnight tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Buffalo River Above Flat Woods
* Until late tonight.
* At 08PM Wednesday the stage was 16.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* The river will continue to fall to near 14 feet by 4am.
* At 15.0 feet...Water begins to inundate low lying agricultural land along the
  river from northern Wayne County to near Linden in Perry County.
