...The flood advisory continues for the Red River...

  Red River At Port Royal AFFECTING Montgomery and Robertson Counties

. Heavy rainfall Tuesday night caused the Red River at Port Royal to rise.
It crested earlier today and will continue to fall to below action stage
Thursday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Advisory continues for
  The Red River At Port Royal
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 08PM Wednesday the stage was 26.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* The river will continue to rise to near 25.6 feet by after midnight tomorrow.
* At 17.0 feet...The public access parking lot at Port Royal State Park is
  completely inundated.
* At 11.0 feet...Water begins to inundate the public access parking lot and
  picnic area at Port Royal State Park.
