THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED FLOODING THIS WEEKEND IN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE...AS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP AND BRING THE
LIKELIHOOD FOR HEAVY RAINFALL. RAIN TOTALS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES WILL
BE COMMON OVER A WIDE PART OF THE MID STATE SATURDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY NIGHT...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS CERTAINLY POSSIBLE.

THESE RAINS WILL COME ON THE HEELS OF SEVERAL PREVIOUS DAYS OF
RAINFALL...WHICH WILL INCREASE THE POTENTIAL FOR RUN OFF AND
LOCALIZED FLOODING... ESPECIALLY IN LOW LYING...POORLY DRAINED...
AREAS...AS WELL AS ALONG SOME OF THE LARGER CREEKS AND RIVERS.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...

SPOTTERS AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS ARE ENCOURAGED
TO REPORT HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE
IN NASHVILLE.
