...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM CDT
FOR CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTY...

AT 225 PM CDT...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS REPORTED CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED
OVER CENTRAL MONTGOMERY COUNTY...OR 8 MILES SOUTH OF
CLARKSVILLE...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.

THE MOST INTENSE PART OF THE STORM IS CURRENLY ALONG THE CUMBERLAND
RIVER SOUTHEAST OF THE CITY OF CLARKSVILLE. THE STORM WILL BE MOVING
THROUGH ASHLAND HILLS...EXCELL...GRANTVILLE AND HICKORY POINT WHICH
ARE ALL EAST OF THE CUMBERLAND RIVER IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DAMAGING WINDS...CONTINUOUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING
WITH THIS STORM. MOVE INDOORS IMMEDIATELY! LIGHTNING IS ONE OF
NATURES NUMBER ONE KILLERS. REMEMBER...IF YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU
ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING.
