SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SKIRT ACROSS NORTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE
THIS EVENING, PRIMARILY IN AREAS ALONG AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40 AND
WEST OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU. THE STORMS WILL AFFECT THE NASHVILLE
METROPOLITAN AREA AT LEAST THROUGH 930 PM. SOME OF THESE STORMS WILL
BE STRONG, WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING. CELL
MOVEMENT IS TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AROUND 15 MILES AN HOUR.
