.NOW...
WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING
MAINLY WEST OF INTERSTATE 65. THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS WERE OVER CHEATHAM
AND WAYNE COUNTIES...WHERE RAINFALL RATES OF ABOUT ONE PER HOUR IS
POSSIBLE. ALL THE PRECIPITATION WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHWEST AT AROUND
10 MPH.

MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION NEAR THUNDERSTORMS DUE TO THE
POSSIBILITY OF HYDROPLANING AS RAIN WATER COLLECTS ON AREA ROADWAYS
FROM LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. AREAL COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OF
THESE SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE TO DIMINISH BY 8:00 PM.
