.NOW...
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE OCCURRING MAINLY
WEST OF INTERSTATE 65. AT 5:48 PM CDT THE HEAVIEST SHOWERS WERE OVER
CHEATHAM AND WAYNE COUNTIES...WHERE RAINFALL RATES OF ONE HALF TO
THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH PER HOUR IS POSSIBLE. ALL THE
PRECIPITATION WAS MOVING TO THE NORTH NORTHWEST AT 10 MPH.

AN ISOLATED SHOWER IS STILL POSSIBLE BEFORE SUNSET FOR THE REMAINING
SECTIONS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

MOTORISTS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION NEAR THUNDERSTORMS DUE TO THE
POSSIBILITY OF HYDROPLANING AS RAIN WATER COLLECTS ON AREA ROADWAYS
FROM LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS. AREAL COVERAGE AND INTENSITY OF
THESE SHOWERS SHOULD DIMINISH AFTER SUNSET.
