...SNOW AND ICE POSSIBLE THURSDAY FOR PARTS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE...

A WEATHER SYSTEM WILL CROSS THE REGION ON THURSDAY BRINGING THE
POTENTIAL FOR WINTRY PRECIPITATION. MIDDLE TENNESSEE WILL BE IN THE
TRANSITION ZONE FROM RAIN IN THE FAR SOUTHERN COUNTIES TO MAINLY SNOW
IN THE FAR NORTHWEST. MOST AREAS WILL HAVE A MIXTURE OF SNOW...SLEET
AND RAIN. EARLY ESTIMATES OF ACCUMULATIONS RANGE FROM JUST A DUSTING
IN THE SOUTHERN COUNTIES OF MID TENNESSEE TO 1 OR 2 INCHES ALONG THE
KENTUCKY BORDER. THE EXACT PRECIPITATION TYPES AND AMOUNTS ARE
UNCERTAIN AT THIS TIME. PLEASE MONITOR THE LATEST WEATHER UPDATES AS
THE FORECAST COULD CHANGE.

PEOPLE PLANNING TRAVEL ACROSS THE REGION...ESPECIALLY NORTH OF
INTERSTATE 40...SHOULD PREPARE FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF WINTRY
WEATHER ON THURSDAY.
