THROUGH 1030 PM...A SCATTERED AREA OF RAIN SHOWERS WITH EMBEDDED
STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH MIDDLE
TENNESSEE.  THROUGH 1030 PM...MOST OF THE STRONGER STORMS WILL MOVE
THROUGH THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL COUNTIES OF THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU
REGION. OVER THE PAST SEVERAL HOURS...SEVERAL COOP OBSERVERS AROUND
THE MID STATE HAVE REPORTED GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MILES AN HOUR.  MOST
OF THE STRONGER WIND GUST WHERE LOCATED IN THE OUTFLOW BOUNDARY OF
THE THUNDERSTORMS WHICH WERE LOCATED UP TO 20 MILES AHEAD OF THE
PRECIPITATION. HOWEVER...MOST PEOPLE IN THE MID STATE WILL ONLY
RECEIVE GUST IN THE RANGE OF 15 TO 25 MPH. IN THE STRONGER STORMS
HOURLY RAINFALL RATES WILL AVERAGE BETWEEN ONE HALF TO THREE QUARTERS
OF AN INCH. THIS WILL PRODUCE PONDING OF WATER IN LOW LYING AREAS AND
ROADWAYS. STORMS WILL MOVE TO THE SOUTHEAST AROUND 20 TO 25 MILES AN
HOUR.
