...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A RIVER FLOOD WARNING
FOR THE HARPETH RIVER...


AFFECTING THESE COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE: DAVIDSON...WILLIAMSON.

HARPETH RIVER AT FRANKLIN...
*   FLOOD STAGE:         21.0 FEET.
*   LATEST STAGE:        19.2 FEET AND RISING AT 8 AM TUESDAY.
*   RIVER FORECAST:      EXPECTED TO RISE TO FLOOD STAGE OF 21.0 FT LATE
THIS AFTERNOON THEN CREST.
*   FLOOD CATEGORY:      THESE LEVELS WILL PRODUCE MINOR FLOODING.

AT THESE LEVELS...FLOOD WATERS REACH LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE BANKS, INCLUDING
THE THE CITY PARK. THIS CREST COMPARES TO A PREVIOUS CREST OF 19.6 FEET WHICH
OCCURRED OCT 19 2004.

IF POSSIBLE...AVOID THE RIVER. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS AND
REMEMBER...NEVER DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. TURN AROUND...DON'T
DROWN.
